The popular social site, TwitPic, which is not owned by Twitter, has been hacked into and been messaging bogus claims that Miley Cyrus died in a car crash. With all the recent deaths lately with Michael Jackson, Farrah Fawcett, Ed McMahon and now Billy Mays, this news seems shocking, nonetheless.

TwitPic allows Tweet users to share pictures on their social site. The hackers also made false claims that Britney Spears died and leaked false information on Ellen Degeneres. All these claims are false so don’t worry, our Miley is safe!
